In this context, the City of Paris, the CNOSF, the CPSF and Paris 2024 have decided to organize the Live of the Games to invite all Parisians, Ile-de-France residents, all French supporters or visiting Paris, sports fans and the Blues. to follow the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games (from July 23 to August 8) from the Jardins du Trocadéro.With the support of France Télévisions, official broadcaster of Tokyo 2021, the general public will be able to experience the fervor of the Games thanks to the broadcasts of the events on a giant screen every day, from 12 p.m. to 16 p.m. Combining sporting activities and meetings with medal-winning athletes returning from Tokyo, this free program, open to all, enriched with activations from partner companies of Paris 2024, offers a unique concentration of emotions and celebrations, to be shared with family or friends. .

The Games live in the Jardins du Trocadéro will also take place during the Paralympic Games, from September 2 to 5, to support the French team.

Tokyo 2021 athletes return and medals

Taking into account the rules in force, the athletes will leave Japanese territory between 24 and 48 hours after their competition. The athletes will return to France from July 26 on the water.

The passage to the Live of the Trocadero Games will be offered to all the athletes of the delegation.

The medalists must go to the Live of the Trocadero Games to celebrate their medal and respond to media requests. Information relating to the presence of the athletes on their return from Tokyo will be communicated via the Télégram Paris group.
