Jaguar commemorates the 2021th anniversary of the E-Type in 60 with the introduction of a new limited edition 8-hp supercharged F-TYPE V575 “Heritage 60 Edition”. Only sixty copies of this all-wheel-drive sports car will be available for sale worldwide *, each one hand-finished by the customization experts in the SV Bespoke department.

Features specially designed for this tribute include the opaque, non-metallic hue of Sherwood Green, a paint reference originally offered on the E-Type that has never been used on a new Jaguar since the 60s, and a Two-tone Windsor leather upholstery, Caraway and Ebony, not available in the normal F-TYPE catalog.

This new exclusive series is also distinguished by a specific center console, finished in aluminum reminiscent of the mirror housing of the first E-Type, by the E-type 60th anniversary logo embossed on the headrests of the lightweight sports seats, as well as by an E-Type 60 marking shared by the cars of theE-type 60 Collection, also in a limited edition announced by Jaguar Classic earlier this year. The personalized door sill, a specific SV Bespoke plaque and caraway-colored edged floor mats add the finishing touch.

“The 60th anniversary of our legendary Jaguar E-Type is the perfect opportunity to create our very first limited edition - and one that will also be the rarest, with only 60 cars available worldwide. We worked closely with Jaguar Design to determine the theme of this F-TYPE “Heritage 60 Edition” which pays homage to the E-Type. Beautiful proof of the continuity in the design of sporty Jaguars, the color Sherwood Green, after from the 60s, is very suitable for today's F-TYPE. "

Boosted performance

Unveiled in December 2019, the new F-TYPE R - which forms the basis of the limited F-TYPE “Heritage 60 Edition” series - is only available with all-wheel drive. The shock absorbers, anti-roll bars and flexible elements of the rear axle are modified to give the driver an even sportier feeling. Power is delivered by the 8-horsepower supercharged V575, and 700Nm of torque ensures smoothness at all speeds, on all types of roads. The level of performance is extraordinary: 0 to 100 km / h takes just 3,5 seconds, and top speed is electronically limited to 300 km / h.

The F-TYPE also features numerous driver-dedicated technologies, including a reconfigurable 12,3-inch TFT high-definition instrumentation screen, the Touch Pro infotainment system and the Smartphone Pack which includes Apple CarPlay® as standard.

“Each copy of the limited series 'Heritage 60 Edition' will be built at the Jaguar factory in Castle Bromwich, UK and will receive its specific finish from the SV Personalization department at the Jaguar Special Vehicle Operations site in Warwickshire. This new model is displayed from € 159 in France. For more information, see the site: www.jaguar.com/SVO

“The F-TYPE“ Heritage 60 Edition ”is a fantastic example of what the SVO department can do. Applying details taken from the E-Type to the F-TYPE gave us the opportunity to delve into the DNA and history of Jaguar, so rich in legendary sports cars. We have taken advantage of our exclusive access to original drawings, paint codes and material references. Working hand in hand with our colleagues at Jaguar Classic, we have created an interpretation of the ultimate sporty Jaguar that will thrill collectors. ” "
