Ladies' Golf Union is the amateur circuit for women golfers in England and Ireland.

The LGU is governed by an elected council with equal representation from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. It has subsidiaries in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales who organize local tournaments, manage the handicap system, liaise with clubs, et promoting sport at local level.
