New highly anticipated images of the Golf Links Reserve at Heritage Golf Club, Mauritius have just been unveiled. Note that it is the first and only contemporary links course in the Indian Ocean.

Made by Jacob Sjoman, a world-renowned golf course photographer, these striking new images depict a landscape and layout that promises pure links of unparalleled dramatic intensity.

The former Open champion, Louis Oosthuizen, who co-designed the course with the famous architect Peter Matkovich, said : " The Golf Links Reserve is everything I had dreamed of, a spectacular and demanding golf course in an extraordinary setting overlooking the Indian Ocean. The scenery and surroundings are second to none and we have worked hard to create a course that reflects the spirit of true links, the purest form of golf, while using native grasses and suitable design to ensure that it remains authentic to the land around us"

Inspired by the wild open spaces of the great seaside links, the elevated tees of The Golf Links Reserve, its infinity greens and the spectacular panoramic views of the tropical bay and the south coast of Mauritius from each hole promise an exhilarating playing experience.

Jonathan Menteath, director general ofHeritage Golf Club, said : " Jacob Sjöman has perfectly captured the essence of this remarkable golf course and highlighted why all those who have had the privilege of seeing it in private preview consider it to be among the best new golf courses. in the world."
