30 years ago, in November 1992, Philippe Heuzé went to South Africa for the first time; it was in Johannesburg and Sun City. Then he returned there regularly from 1 to organize trips for amateur golfers, but also for companies. In 1996, at the request of the South African Tourist Office in France, his team organized promotion competitions in French clubs.

The interest in the destination was such that with the support of the Tourist Office, South African Airways and Sun International hotels, Voyages Golfissimes was to imagine and market the South Africa Pro-Am the first edition of which was organized in February 2003 in the Durban region.

For this first edition, the success was immediate and 112 amateur and professional golfers were present; 20 years later, Philippe Heuzé would not have imagined that this event would survive without interruption all the crises that marked these two decades!

Thanks to the South Africa Pro-Am, more than 1000 golfers have discovered the country of the rainbow nation and some are returning in 2023 for the 14th consecutive year!

As organizer, it is always a great pleasure for Philippe Heuzé to welcome them in the heart of the southern summer to take part in this unmissable event.

The richness and variety of the country allow them to offer different combinations each year, to discover different regions and new golf courses.

In a few months, in February 2023, it is in Sun City and in the superb region of the Garden Route that Voyages Golfissimes will celebrate this beautiful anniversary!
