Chiara Tamburlini was above the rest in South Africa. Largely the leader on the evening of the moving day thanks to a card of 67 (-5), the 24-year-old player set off with a six-shot lead in the last round. Punctuating her week with a final card under par of 70 (-2), despite a bogey at 17 followed by a double bogey at 18, Chiara Tamburlini won with a seven-shot lead and lifted the Joburg Ladies Open trophy . Agathe Sauzon finished as the best tricolor in South Africa, even though she had a very bad start to her tournament. After a first round of 75 (+3), Sauzon scored the same card of 71 (-1) on the remaining rounds and took the final 13th place.
