This is the 2rd exhibition which is organized at the Golf Originel du Sorbier by the Sorb'Act Association of which Philippe PALLI is the President. Located in the heart of the Dordogne, the Golf Originel du Sorbier is located a few kilometers from the decorated cave of Rouffignac and the castle of L'Herm.

Last year, it was an exhibition on the history of French Golf “From its prehistory to 1939”. Scheduled for August over 3 days, the first exhibition dedicated to French Golf will have lasted until mid-October.

This year, and still with the personal archives of Philippe Palli, Sorb'Act presents the History of French Women's Golf during the period 1908/1988. By Pauline de Bellet, the 1st International of France in 1913 to Marie Laure de Lorenzi who in 1988, finished in the place of N° 1 of the European pro circuit.

This detailed exhibition presents all our National and International Champions. The greatest French victories whether Amateur or Professional. The different female trophies and their donors.

We also learn that the 1st golfer in the World member of an Association of Golf Professionals (PGA France) is a French…

There are also press articles dating back more than 100 years, photos, period advertisements, original drawings from the 1925 magazine "Le Golf", postcards, tournament posters, Various Clubs dating for the oldest, from the very beginning of the 20rd etc.

Expo free and open to all (10 a.m. – 18 p.m.).
