Hyo Joo Kim was imperial this week in Texas on the course of The Colony. Leader from the first round with a superb card of 64 (-7), one of the best cards of the week, kept his focus towards the end of the event. With a total of -13 on The Ascendant LPGA benefiting volunteers America, the Korean player won with a four-shot lead over her first pursuers. This is her 6th victory on the LPGA Tour, a victory which should allow her to grab a few places in the world rankings, having previously been 7th.

Céline Boutier, on the podium in the evening of the Cut, did not find her rhythm over the weekend. Despite good plays (only three fairways missed over the weekend), the French number 1 plays above par on Saturday and in par on Sunday. She finally finished 13th in this event in Texas at -3.
