By 2018, new structures will be created to support the development of golf and the training of passionate players and spectators, on the eve of the French organization of the Ryder Cup. On September 6, 2014, a new 18-hole course, signed by architect Robert Berthet, opens its doors: Le Golf de Maudétour en Vexin.

Today,
It is rare to see an 18-hole golf course emerge from the ground, in a natural and preserved environment.
It is rare to draw the contours of it through mounds, sand and forest.
It is rare to imagine the design favoring precision rather than length.
It is rare to set up a golf course in a classified environment, in the Vexin Regional Natural Park.
The Golf de Maudétour en Vexin meets these requirements.

This course winds through the woods and mills of French Vexin, and offers golfers of all levels a unique and pleasant experience. Rather short and defended, skillfully using natural elevations and stone sculptures resulting from the creation of the reservoir, this site benefits from a wooded setting and views of the distance.

After very long administrative procedures, this golf course, funded and built by the site owner, opens its doors, accompanied by NGFGolf, before the Ryder Cup 2014, on a reference course which already has great promise, and is well worth it. a detour…
