The LPGA Tour is being played this week in California and after two rounds, it is the young player Malia Nam who leads with a total of -8. Well placed from the first round thanks to a card of 65 (-6), Nam scored 69 (-2) on his second day to take the lead. At 24, she is playing only her second tournament in the top American division.

For a rookie season, the American from Hawaii is hitting hard and could offer herself a chance to win.

The Europeans are in good shape this week! Four of them placed in the top 10: Madelene Sagstrom (SUE) was second, Leona Maguire (IRL) 4th, Linn Grant (SUE) 7th and Dani Holmqvist 9th.

Nelly Korda, one of the favorites for victory, moved up to 15th position in her second round thanks to a nice card of 67 (-4).

Very tough second day for Canadian Maude-Aimée Leblanc, the leader of the first round. She returned a heavy card of 79 (+8) and barely made the Cut.

The two tricolors entered, Perrine Delacour and Agathe Laisné, did not pass the Cut of the event. With respective scores of +4 and +16, they finished 94th and 144th in the Fir Hills Seri Pak Championship.
