Packed with rugged toughness with its new durable aluminum architecture, it excels on all surfaces, both on-road and off-road: the new Defender is ready for expeditions. On the occasion of the FAI (Festival Automobile International) 2020, after several remarkable presentations in France and abroad, laps on asphalt and track then in the next BOND opus, the Land Rover Defender is exhibited at the Invalides . It is presented alongside the one with whom it all started, the 17th Land Rover I-Series prototype from 1948, perfectly restored by a lover of the brand. A wonderful way to celebrate this automotive icon, in the presence of the designer, Prof. Gerry McGovern OBE, Chief Creative Officer.

As for Jaguar, performance, sportiness and design are in the spotlight, with the presentation of the new F-TYPE in a convertible version, for the first time in France. At its side, visitors can also appreciate the Jaguar I-PACE concept, symbolizing the latest achievement of Ian Callum chief designer of Jaguar from 1999 to 2019. The latter was awarded at the opening night of the 35th International Automobile Festival by receiving the Grand Prix du Design for his entire career and what he has brought to automotive design and to the Jaguar brand in particular.

Romain Grosjean, Formula 1 driver and Jaguar ambassador, had the pleasure of welcoming the children of the Childhood and Cancer association that he sponsors, to introduce them to cars and share his experience of motor racing. On this occasion, Jaguar France presented a check for € 5000 to help the association in its fight against disease.
