Proud of our French women, we were hoping for a French victory at the end of these three rounds of golf on the superb Deauville course. It was finally Inès Laklalech, leader at the start of the last lap, who won, in the playoff against Meghan MacLaren.

The Moroccan hung on to get her first victory on the Ladies European Tour, she who was two strokes behind her English opponent at the start of hole 16. She completed her last three holes in -1, while MacLaren committed a bogey for two pars. Laklalech will be the strongest in the playoff and therefore lifts the trophy for the Lacoste Ladies Open de France 2022.

“I don't have the words, I'm a little in shock. I had a great day it was exceptional. I am happy to have had the chance to play for the victory. It was a first for me to be in this position and I'm very happy with the way I managed my game. It's a big boost in confidence for the end of the season and for the years to come, I'm very happy”, Inès Laklalech after her victory.

More difficult day for Céline Boutier, the third player of the last game. She never knew how to keep pace with the leaders: she played in par for this last round, and finished sixth, six strokes from the playoff.

The best tricolor this week is Anais Meyssonnier. She signs her best card of the week this Saturday, a 66 (-5) which allows her to move up to fourth place in the standings.
