Following the enthusiasm for free initiations in the start of the 2020 school year and after the network's record traffic throughout the summer period, Bluegreen is extending its operation throughout France. Until November 1, the golf courses of the network provide free introductory lessons for all those who want to discover the pleasures of golf!

Outdoor sport more popular than ever

At a time when government restrictions are reappearing more and more, the free initiations are an opportunity to learn about the pleasure of the little white ball alone, with family or friends in one of the 49 golf courses of the network. Bluegreen in France.

Participants will be greeted by a teacher in a relaxed atmosphere, no equipment needed, clubs will be made available. On the program for 1h30: discovery of a golfer's equipment, training areas, putting and practice where neophytes can try to hit their first balls. Then, a new stage of initiation with the departure on a real golf course for a complete immersion. The safety of participants being a priority, all initiations will take place in strict compliance with barrier gestures and social distancing. Loan equipment will be systematically disinfected.

Golf, the sport of the next world

With physical distances that are becoming the norm, golf, a sport associated with the natural environment par excellence, is asserting itself as one of the sports of the next world.
According to an Ifop / Bluegreen * survey carried out in August 2020, 49% of French people believe that golf arrives in the top 3 sports where social distancing is naturally respected with cycling and horse riding.
Still according to the study, golf is the third sport most suited to outdoor family activity, especially among 3-18 year olds. And finally among the over 24s, 65 in 1 French people associate golf with the natural environment.
