Leader at the start of the last lap of the Porsche European Open, closely followed by Julien Brun, Victor Perez and the blue clan ultimately failed to lift the victory trophy, leaving this chance to Kalle Sammoja, author of a sublime 64 (- 8) on the last lap. Victor Perez finally finished 3rd in the event.

Victor Perez made us dream again this week during the Porsche European Open. Winner last week of the Dutch Open in the Netherlands, the Tarbais had taken control of the tournament in Germany thanks to a solid golf game in difficult conditions. He had even signed a hole in 1 on Saturday on hole 2, moving day where he scored 71 (-1). The last day unfortunately did not turn to his advantage, signing three bogeys on his last seven holes. He thus lets slip the Finnish Samooja Kalle author of the card of the week. He played 64 (-8), eight birdies without any errors to win with a two-stroke lead. This is his first victory on the DP World Tour. He went from 239th to 134th place in the world.

Victor Perez finally finished 3rd in the event and won places again at the OWGR, he was 93rd. He also won an invite to the upcoming US Open at Brookline. This new fine performance allows him to move up to 18th in the Race to Dubai. Having joined the world top 100 last week, the French number 1 consolidates this place and could benefit from invitation in important tournaments.

The scores of our French:

Julien Guerrier, author of a card of 69 (-3) on the last day, gained 12 places and climbed into the top 10 of the tournament, 10th at -1.

Julien Brun meanwhile lived a nightmarish day. Starting in 2nd position on Sunday, he returned to the clubhouse with a card of 80 (+8) tainted by a quadruple bogey on the par 3 of the 14th. He finally finished 34th in the event.

Romain Langasque and Mike Lorenzo-vera rank 40th at +5.

Mathieu Pavon ends his week at +6 in 47th position.

Antoine Rozner plays under par during the last lap 71 (-1) but finishes 51st at +7.
