With their eyes riveted on France-Ireland at Euro 2016 last Sunday, sports fans could also follow the same duel on the golf side, during the World University Championships which were contested in Brive_la-Gaillarde. The French men's team may have led by six points before starting the last round, the Irish did not give up and the duel promised to be tense. With six points ahead before the last day, the France team has managed to preserve its advantage, despite a difficult start to the day for Franck Medale.
