TrousManShow's advice for putting all French people to golf

On Thursday December 8, 2016, at 18:00 p.m., UGOLF announces to launch its Web TV, with the launching and broadcasting of the first episode of its web series.

UGOLF launches its humorous web series to share the daily life of a golfer, and to break the received ideas on this sport.

By opting for an offbeat tone and adopting the codes of Youtubers, UGOLF intends to target an audience of the uninitiated.

At the origin of this video, a simple observation: golf frightens some of the French even though it is the most practiced individual sport in the world. It is not always easy for the uninitiated to approach a golf course. By their ignorance of the world of golf and its benefits, too many French people unfortunately miss out on the opportunity to discover this sport.

Concretely, in the webseries “TrousManShow”, UGOLF is betting on projecting all French people on the courses, by living the life of a player. The character discovers that playing golf is admittedly not easy, but not as complicated as he thought. Over the course of the episodes, he will be confronted with classic or incongruous situations that may be encountered by each golf player.

On the program thereafter, every month or every quarter, a program that will talk about golf and its news. Its programming will notably offer offbeat golf moments.

Why a web series?

Incomprehensible vocabulary, sport too complicated or too long to learn, time-consuming ... preconceived ideas about golf die hard.

"We wanted to take an amused and benevolent look at the received ideas that we know are widespread in France: the webseries point out in a humorous way the main received ideas and the main oddities of golf life" comments Pierre-André Uhlen, Managing Director of UGOLF.

UGOLF recruits nearly 5000 players in France per year, which makes it the main recruiter of new golfers.
