The world of golf meets this week in Muirfield for the last women's grand slam tournament of the season: the AIG Women's Open. As with The Open (Men), LPGA Tour and LET players prepared for the conditions at the Scottish Open, the Trust Golf Women's Scottish Open. Céline Boutier distinguished herself by finishing second in the event, unable to resist Ayaka Furue's charge.

This fine performance allowed Céline Boutier to re-enter the world top 20: she is 17th. The French number 1 will start the first round at 12:05 p.m. with Mina Harigae (USA) and Yüna Nishimura (JAP).

Perrine Delacour finished 34th in the 2021 edition at Carnoustie. She will start at 14:33 p.m. for her first lap.

The third Frenchwoman to attend this AIG Women's Open is Céline Herbin. The 39-year-old qualified brilliantly in a playoff at the North Berwick qualifying tournament. Eleven other players also obtained their ticket for this British Open.

Anna Nordqvist, two-time major winner and AIG Women's Open title holder, will be teamed up with Patty Tavatanakit (THA) and Yuka Saso (JAP).

The game to follow will undoubtedly be that of 12:38 p.m. bringing together the three best players in the world: Jin Young Ko, Minjee Lee and Nelly Korda. Only Minjee Lee won a major in this year 2022, it was during the US Women's Open.
