This Portuguese Open 2022 at the Royal Obidos Spa & Golf Resort will have been a great success for the French camp. Counting for the second division of the European Tour, the Challenge Tour, our tricolors distinguished themselves this week so that the playoff saw three Frenchmen compete against each other: Pierre Pineau, Félix Mory and David Ravetto.

The three men have indeed completed their four laps at the mark of -15, forcing them to oppose in the playoff. This fight in sudden death will have offered us the spectacle, and especially a great shot of golf designating the winner. Pierre Pineau simply hit the mark of the tournament, a string for an eagle on the par 5 of hole 18 from the first playoff hole.

The young Frenchman managed to climb into this playoff despite a first day in 74 (+2). He then played his golf with cards of 66-66-67 and won his first professional victory. He now ranks 378th in the world rankings.

Félix Mory and David Ravetto therefore finished second in this Portuguese Open.

Jeong weon Ko will not have signed the day he expected for this last round. Co-leader on Saturday evening, he returned a card of 73 (+1) on Sunday for an 8th place finish. Jerome Lando-Casanova also finished 8th.

Gary Stal signs the best Sunday card with a super 64 (-8). This allows him to move up to 12th place in the standings.
