Nikon announced in March the launch of a new portable rangefinder, the COOLSHOT 20 GII, a compact and lightweight model that enriches the range of Nikon COOLSHOT laser rangefinders.

The COOLSHOT 20 GII rangefinder is able to easily capture a target thanks to its 6x lenses with multilayer treatment. It also offers a measurement range from 5 to 730 meters and a user-friendly display that indicates the distance in 1 meter increments.

The COOLSHOT 20 GII's Closest Target Priority algorithm measures the closest object chosen from a group of multiple targets, an essential function for aiming at a flag on a green, even with a wooded background. In addition, a continuous measurement up to approximately 8 seconds can be obtained by holding down the power button.

Characteristics COOLSHOT 20 GII

  • Compact and lightweight housing (approx. 130 g)
  • Measuring range from 5 to 730 m
  • Closest Target Priority algorithm for measuring the distance to the nearest subject when measuring overlapping subjects
  • One-off or continuous measurement (up to 8 seconds). If a spot measurement fails, the rangefinder automatically prolongs the measurement for a maximum of 4 seconds until it is successful. Continuous measurement up to approximately 8 seconds can be obtained by holding down the power button.
  • High quality 6x monocular with multilayer coating for clear and bright images
  • Large eye relief for better visibility, even for spectacle wearers
  • Diopter adjustment function
  • Rain resistance equivalent to JIS / IEC protection class 4 (IPX4)
  • Wide temperature tolerance: -10 ˚C to +50 ˚C

Nikon Pro Stabilized

This premium golf laser rangefinder integrates the vibration reduction of the COOLSHOT 80 into an even more ergonomic housing for added stability. Whatever the light conditions, the measurements are readable thanks to the automatic brightness adjustment on the internal red OLED display. The response time of the HYPER READ measurement is now only 0,3 seconds (approximately) over a range of 7,5 to 1090 m. LOCKED ON technology quickly identifies overlapping subjects to provide you with an accurate measurement of distance to the flag while ID technology provides distance cues for hilly terrain.

The precision of the COOLSHOT PRO STABILIZED gives you confidence so that you are at the top of your performance.

Stable, thin, light and ergonomic

Featuring a small, lightweight body, the COOLSHOT PRO STABILIZED incorporates the power of Nikon's vibration reduction system (originally deployed in the COOLSHOT 80 model) to reduce image vibration by approximately 80% ¹ sighting due to hand movements. When you aim your laser rangefinder at your target, vibrations are reduced. You can spot it more quickly. With its more compact ergonomic design, you can take your rangefinder with you in the field in comfort. And thanks to its waterproof and anti-fog qualities, it's tough enough to give you a head start when you need it.

Readable measurements regardless of brightness

Never waste a single opportunity regardless of the light conditions. You will be able to read the distance measurement clearly thanks to the visible red internal display even in difficult light conditions. Automatic brightness adjustment adjusts the brightness of the display according to the ambient light. You can see at a glance the precise distance and be immediately ready for your strike.

Locked on technology guarantees precise aiming

Overlapping subjects are no longer a problem with LOCKED ON² technology, which displays the distance to the nearest target using the Closest Target Priority algorithm. With trees behind the flag, you can always be sure you have the target and get a correct measurement. Once the closest subject is identified, the LOCKED ON sign will be displayed in green for you to have no doubts. No more guesswork! Fast and accurate measurements give you a head start.
