The LPGA Tour is being played this week in China on the People's Republic of China during the Blue Bay LPGA. After two rounds, an American and a Korean occupy first place on the leaderboard: Narin An and Sarah Schmelzel. The Korean scored the best part of the second round with a 65 (-7). Narin An scored eight birdies, including five in a row, for just one bogey this Friday.

Renowned players are placed in the top 10, notably Minjee Lee in fourth position at -7 or Lydia Ko in sixth place one stroke further at -6.

Two French women were engaged this week in China and will be present for the weekend. Céline Boutier after a first round above par, score 71 (-1) to place herself in 36th position. Despite numerous bogeys, the French number 1 remains in the nails and will need a big day of golf on the moving day to get back on track. Agathe Laisné also crossed the Cut thanks to the same card of 71 (-1) this Friday. Starting her first round with a mixed 75 (+3), the player from Boulie fits perfectly into this Chinese event.

Lilia Vu, for the second consecutive week, is forced to abandon. She had signed a card in par on the first day. With a good end to the tournament, Céline Boutier can hope to get closer to the American in the world rankings.
