Nearly 400 players participated, from July 10 to 13, in the 18e Lexus Pro-Am from Paris, which competed on four of the most beautiful courses in Ile de France.

No less than 70 teams registered, 200 bottles of champagnes uncorked, 1000 free gifts, 1000 printed scorecards, 3000 petit fours served during receptions, 20160 holes played and 11200 km covered in total by the participants… The organizers saw this year for the 18e edition of the Lexus Pro-Am in Paris, only the number of sunburns not having been listed.

Under a blue sky to make Yves Klein green with jealousy, the competition was played out on four five-star courses in the west of Paris: the Boulie (Valley course), Courson (lilac / black course), Fourqueux (blue course , white and red composite) and the Albatross at the Golf National, less than a year after the Ryder Cup. Among the pros, the best final score was achieved by Alexandre Kaleka (-11), member of the European circuit in 2011, year in which he finished 5e of the Irish Open. He is three shots ahead of the Alps Tour player Matyas Baldauf (-8) and four shots ahead of François Calmels and the Belgian Guillaume Watremez (-4).

It is also our friends from beyond Quiévrain who won the team ranking in Net with a final score of 516 (-60), Guillaume Watremez being assisted by three nice members of the Brussels Droh! Me Golf Club: Rozakis Vasilio, Benoît Pierlot and Barbara Deronchêne. Since she discovered golf two and a half years ago, Barbara has really fallen in love with the little white ball and doesn't hesitate to see the country, driver in hand. "  At the start of the year, I took part in the Abu Dhabi Pro-Am and we finished on the third step of the podium ”, confides this physiotherapist in civilian life, when she finally deigns to put away her clubs. Beyond the victory of her team, the Brussels player seems enchanted by her Parisian experience: “The people in the organization were great, super nice. They were always there to answer my many questions, they recommended hotels and good restaurants in Paris. And on the course, I finished in apotheosis the last day with a birdie on the 18 at La Boulie! "

All the participants finished in style. A few days after a welcome cocktail in the Bucherer boutique in the heart of Paris, the festivities ended with a gala evening in “garden party” mode at the Racing Club de France in La Boulie, hosted by a DJ. Can't wait for next summer!
