Three young hopes of French golf

At the end of May 2021, Lucie Malchirand still an amateur (10th in the world) won the Italian Open. This resounding victory on the Ladies European Tour encouraged him to turn professional. The young Frenchwoman who had already caused a sensation in 2020 on the demanding course of the Golf du Médoc Resort will be one of the favorites to follow this year.

Pauline Roussin-Bouchard, also very freshly professional (since August 9) signs a very good performance for her first professional tournament by taking 4th place in the Four Winds Invitational, Symetra Tour event (2nd American division). World No. 1 amateur in 2020 for 34 weeks, the young Varoise will have all eyes on her for her first participation in the National Open.

Agathe Laisne retains her amateur status, despite two superb victories in 2020 in the LET ACCESS SERIES (2nd European professional division) in Lavaux and Santander. La Parisienne, a resident of the University of Texas, currently occupies 12th place in the World Ranking. Alongside her two playmates, she will also be one to follow closely.

108 expected players

108 players including 13 invited will form the field of the 31st edition of the Lacoste Ladies Open de France. Injured for several months, the Swedish Julia Engstrom winner in 2020 will not be able to defend her title. The beautiful French delegation led by Céline Herbin will attempt to re-enter the name of a tricolor in the tournament's prize list.
