While many European drivers use their smartphones for driving assistance, Coyote and Jaguar-Land Rover are teaming up to enable the use of the Coyote app in vehicles of both brands equipped with the InControl AppsTM system. This system offers a connectivity service for Android and iOS smartphones which facilitates the use of mobile applications directly via the vehicle touch screen.

Coyote is one of the most popular driver assistance apps. It informs drivers of all the dangers of the road for ever greater safety: alerts, traffic, speed limits, etc.

Thanks to this new partnership, owners of Jaguar and Land Rover equipped with InControl AppsTM will be able to receive and share reliable alerts in real time with members of the Coyote community across European routes from France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands , Spain, Italy and Poland.

Coyote is constantly innovating and adapting its technology to international standards to democratize the use of connected services in the car.

Marc Luini, Executive Director of Jaguar-Land Rover France says: “Jaguar-Land Rover has a particular interest in the development of on-board technologies. With InControl AppsTM available as an option on our two brands' vehicles, we seek to offer our customers better services in terms of connectivity and driver assistance. The combination of the Coyote application and InControl AppsTM will allow Jaguar and Land Rover owners to benefit from optimum use of all the connected services present in the equipped vehicles. "

Benoît Lambert, CEO of Coyote: “Partnerships with automobile manufacturers constitute a strategic axis for the development of Coyote. We are very proud that our service has been chosen by Jaguar-Land Rover France to be part of the applications compatible with InControl AppsTM. This is recognition of Coyote's place as the European leader in connected services dedicated to drivers. "
