The TruSwing is for all golfers, beginners and experts alike, who can analyze their performance a few seconds after each swing.

The TruSwing analyzes the influence of swing on:

  • The flight of the ball : the club path, the angle of the club face, the tilt of the shaft can all have an impact on the trajectory of the ball. These recorded data identify the adjustments that should be made to improve the efficiency of your swing.
  • The trajectory of the ball : the tilt of the shaft and the angle of attack have an effect on the dynamic loft, which impacts the trajectory of the ball. Golfers can use these settings to adjust the loft of their clubs.
  • The distance from the ball : The distance traveled by the ball depends both on the speed of the club head at impact and on the area of the clubface hitting the ball. Golfers can take advantage of the “Swing Tempo” setting to provide a more rhythmic swing and see its effect on club head speed.

Compatible with the Garmin Connect Mobile application, the TruSwing collects data to display 3D animations, which can be viewed on a smartphone or tablet2. These animated graphics make it possible to display the opposite swings in order to analyze the data in real time. Golfers can also examine a specific swing or overlay the image of two swings for comparison, highlighting areas for improvement. All data collected is kept via the Garmin Connect community application. The sessions are classified chronologically to allow you to easily find a session and follow the evolution of its performance.

Combined with an Approach S6 watch, the TruSwing offers additional analysis parameters on the wrist trajectory to visualize the placement of the forearm during the swing.

Discreet, light and compact (28 grams), the TruSwing can be securely attached to any type of club. The attachment ensures a solid grip on the shaft and a quick and easy change between the clubs. Waterproof (IPX73), the TruSwing has a battery life of up to 12 hours.

The TruSwing will be available from February 2016 at the recommended retail price of 149,99 €.

The TruSwing + Approach® S6 pack will be available soon at the recommended retail price of 499,99 €.
