The Aramco Team Series is being played this week on the Glen Oaks Club course in New York. This tournament is sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour and has attracted renowned players in the United States for this edition. The American LPGA circuit does not offer a tournament this week, the Aramco Team Series thus displays a field of players raised with players of Solheim Cup such as Emily Kristine Pedersen or Danielle Kang, or world number 1 Nelly Korda.

The tournament therefore includes a team classification and an individual classification.

Each team is made up of three professional players and one amateur.

The two best scores per hole are retained for the team.

The professional players note each time their score for the individual classification.

At the top of the team classification, we find the Strom team, which includes Lucie Malchirand. His two other partners are Jenny Haglund and Cho Mina Thant. They are in the lead at -18 with two strokes ahead of the Popov team.

The French teams:

  • Linnea Strom, Jenny Haglund, Lucie Malchirand and Cho Mina Thant: 1st to -18
  • Caroline Mason, Pauline Roussin Bouchard, Agathe Sauzon and Marc Elasmar: 8th to -11.
  • Leonie Harm, Chloe Williams, Astrid Vayson De Pradenne and John Glavinic: 11th to -10
  • Emily Kristine Pedersen, Whitney Hillier, Camille Chevalier and Ahmad Rashad: 20th at -8.
  • Danielle Kang, Cheyenne Woods Emma Grechi and HE Yasir Al-Rumayyan: 23rd at -6.

On the individual side, it is Sophia Popov who takes the lead of this Aramco Team Series. The German player, winner in 2020 of the AIG Women's Open, returns a card of 65 (-7).

Just behind her, we find Pauline Roussin Bouchard at -4. With four birdies for no bogey, the tricolor is placed in 2nd position.

Lucie Malchirand is also in the top 10. She signs five birdies, four bogeys and a beautiful eagle on hole 13 and returns a card of 69 (-3). She ranks 8th alongside world number 1 Nelly Korda in particular.

The results of the French women:

Pauline Roussin Bouchard: 2nd, 68 (-4)

Lucie Malchirand: 8th, 69 (-3)

Astrid Vayson De Pradenne: 19th, 71 (-1)

Camille Chevalier: 39th, 74 (+2)
