Consumers can now pay for their plane tickets quickly and easily with PayPal, without having to enter their credit card numbers with each reservation. At the end of March 2016, the airline's customers will also be able to book their plane tickets with PayPal via the mobile and tablet application in France and in many countries.

“We work daily to optimize the booking experience for our customers, whatever the sales channels. This partnership meets the expectations and requirements of Air France passengers: a simple, fast and secure solution ”declared Tjalling Smit, Chief Digital Officer of Air France-KLM.

“Today, the purchase of plane tickets is done mainly over the Internet and thanks to this partnership with Air France, PayPal intends to make everyday life easier for travelers. We are very happy with this collaboration and wish to bring our know-how and our experience in order to best meet the needs of our customers. PayPal now has the ambition to facilitate online payments for tourism players, whatever their size, ”underlines Damien Périllat, Managing Director of PayPal in France.
