This will be the fourth consecutive year that the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open has been held in Adelaide and the second time at The Grange after a successful event in 2016.

Minjee Lee, 22, was at The Grange today for the tournament kickoff and mirrored her fantastic 2018 LPGA season, which included a win and 13 Top 10 standings, just behind Jutanugarn, which made her propelled to 6th place in the world.

The February event will be his 8th Australian Open and his 5th as a professional.

"I had a really good season this year and one of my goals was to be in the top 10 of the world rankings, so I'm really happy to be in that position"said Lee.

“I love coming back to Adelaide to play, and obviously playing in front of an audience, it's just amazing. I get such support and it's something to play at home, it's always really special and I love coming back. "

Jutanugarn, 23, won three trophies on the LPGA in 2018, notably in the United States and Scotland. In addition to these victories, Jutanugarn recorded 17 top 10, helping the Thai to finish the season at the top of the world ranking.

“It was a great year. I am really proud of what I have achieved and happy to be competitive in many tournaments ”said Jutanugarn.

“I've always enjoyed coming to Australia to play and have had a great time in Adelaide for the past two years. So I can't wait to come back in February and start my 2019 season. ”

Jutanurgarn's older sister Moriya captured her first LPGA victory at the LA Open in April, which saw her finish the year ranked.
