After the confirmation of the return of Graeme McDowell, two-time defending champion, to theAlstom French Open, the organizer FFGolf Production is pleased to announce the arrival of the Englishman Lee Westwood, 29e world player, and number 2 French and 53e Alexander Levy.

At 41, Lee Westwood, whose 10th and last appearance dates back to 2012, will be present to try to secure his first victory in the event. The Englishman with 23 successes on the European Tour, also seven times crowned in Ryder Cup with the European team, counts four top 10 in career at the Alstom Open of France including a loss in play-off against Martin Kaymer in 2009.

For his part, Alexander Levy will play his national open at 24 for the 5th consecutive year. The current 53rd player in the world, who has established himself as one of the greatest hopes of French golf with his triumphs at the China Open and the Portugal Masters last season, will be one of the main attractions of the tournament where his best result is the 35th place acquired in 2014.

Meet the Alstom Open de France at the Salon du Golf

The Alstom Open de France will be present at the 9th edition of the Salon du Golf, which will take place from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 March at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, in the 15th arrondissement of the capital. A ticketing operation will be organized for all golf enthusiasts: for any ticket for the Alstom Open de France purchased during the Salon du Golf, a gift in the colors of the tournament will be offered.
