More and more people are experiencing delays, overbooking and flight cancellations when traveling by plane. But we are not very well informed about the possibilities of compensation.

These misadventures happen not only during vacation periods but also all year round. Of the 172 million passengers who pass through French airports each year, around 6,8 million are affected.

Nearly 4,4 million suffer excessive delays, 2 million have their flight canceled, while 334 cannot board, faced with overbooking.

Faced with these contingencies, the French market leader Air Indemnité supports passengers in their compensation procedures with airlines. The company obtains compensation in 9 out of 10 cases and pays 75% of the compensation to passengers with zero hidden costs. The remaining 25% is for Air indemnity, if the complaint is not successful, the customer does not pay anything.

When to get compensated

In the event of a delay of more than 3 hours, overbooking or cancellation, the passenger has the option of submitting his claim for compensation.

The flat-rate compensation to which passengers can claim is € 250 for journeys of 1500 kilometers, € 400 for those between 1500 and 3500 kilometers, and € 600 beyond 3500 kilometers.

Air Indemnité, was the first company to launch the concept on the French market in 2007 and today shows a three-digit growth in the number of files filed in the first half of 1.

Air indemnité is now highlighting its expertise and added value in air transport and is launching a new website. This intuitive and ergonomic portal, accessible from smartphone, tablet or computer, simplifies the filing of a file in just a few clicks, saving them from long and tedious procedures with airlines that are not always collaborative.

This allows customers to send their request 24/24 from anywhere in the world and get immediate support for the entire complaint process. They benefit from real-time follow-up of their file and can communicate directly with their personal advisor at any time by telephone on 7 7 0 892 (€ 490 incl. Tax / minute).
