The Swedish Madelene Sagstrom is still leader of the Vic Open, at -13, at the end of the second round this Friday. Disappointment for defending champion Céline Boutier, who misses the cut by two shots (-2).

Winner of the last LPGA tournament, in Florida (Gainbridge), Madelene Sagstrom continues to walk on the water, this time in Australia, in Victoria. For the fifth consecutive day, the Swede is leading a tournament. Thanks to a card of 67 in the 2nd round of the Vic OPen, she is suddenly ahead of the American Ally McDonald (-12). “When you play at such a level, you have to wonder how long it will last. But I continue to putt very well, that's the key ”, points out Madelene Sagstrom.

The rest of the tournament will unfortunately be disputed without Céline Boutier, who won her first LPGA tournament here last year. Author of an excellent start to the season with two top 10s in two tournaments, the world n ° 53 fails two strokes from the cut, just like the legendary Laura Davies, who played 10 strokes more than the day before (77). The other two French women in contention, Perrine Delacour and Karine Icher, twentieth at -7, are however still in the game.
