“It's amazing, but it's a good result. I had never putt so well in twenty years. " Laura Davies was apparently herself surprised by her lovely performance this morning at the 13th Beach Golf Links in Victoria, Australia. Thanks to a series of 7 birdies in 9 holes, at the end of the course, the quadruple winner in Majors, titled 87 times around the world, reappeared at the top of a leaderboard. At 56 years old.

A ranking that currently has two leaders at -8: the South Korean Haeji Kang and the Swedish Madelene Sagstrom, in great shape since she won the last LPGA tournament (Gainbridge), at the end of January in Florida. Among the French women in contention, note the beautiful card of 69 (-4) from Perrine Delacour. Céline Boutier is in the par at the 80e provisional place but started on the more difficult of the two courses (the Beach Course).
