For the 58th edition of the Junior Orange Bowl International Golf Championship, two French people were in the playing field:  Vairana Heck and Hugo Le Goff. This amateur tournament bringing together many of the best young players was played at the Biltmore Golf Course in Miami. It is therefore on this par 71 designed in 1925 by Donald Ross that these young golfers evolved during  four days.

Leader after two laps thanks to two cards of 67 (-4) and 71 (PAR), Vairana Heck gives up the place of leader on Saturday evening to the Colombian Maria Jose Marin, author of a superb 63 (-8). The Solheim Cup player sets off for the last round in the last part alongside the leader but will not be able to catch up. She finished in second position three strokes away from victory. She signs cards 67-71-69-72 during this week in Miami. It was finally the Maria Jose Marin who retained her first position in this last lap and who won with a total of -8.

On the Gentlemen's side, it is the Floridian Nicholas Prieto who wins with a total score of -8. Starting fourth with six strokes behind the leader, he signed the best card of the last round with a 65 (-6) and at the same time took advantage of a lackluster game from the leader Jay Brooks in 73 (+2) and s' grab for victory.

Hugo Le Goff, the only Frenchman involved in the event, finished in the middle of the table in 34th place with a total score of +13. After a card in the PAR during the first round, the Paris Country Club player will have had more difficulty the following rounds. He's signing cards 71-74-76-76 this week.
