Incredible victory for Brooks Koepka who left his mark on the history of the US Open by winning for the second time after his victory in 2017.

Koepka becomes the second player in history to retain his US Open title, following Curtis Strange, the first player to win a second US Open in a row 29 years ago at the Empire State.

After four hard-fought rounds on a course of 6 meters, Koepka's final score of 810 above par, allowed him to win for the second time by a small point ahead of Englishman Tommy Fleetwood in the second major championship of the season, of which Rolex has been the official timekeeper since 1980.

With this historic victory, Koepka is now part of the very closed circle of Rolex ambassadors who, like Curtis Strange, have achieved several victories at the US Open, including four-time title winner Jack Nicklaus, triple holder Tiger Woods and Retief Goosen. twice winnerof the US Open, 

With rounds of 75, 66 and 72, the 28-year-old Floridian led the tournament from start to finish, with flawless precision, discipline and determination, scoring five birdies in the final round of 68.

After his last lap, Brooks Koepka said: “It's amazing. I've looked at all of these names a million times and having my name on this trophy is very special. I am truly very honored. " 

On the French side, the Bordelais Matthieu Pavon signs a good performance for his first US Open and finishes 25th.
