After the postponement and then the suspension of the ceremony scheduled for March 18, 2020, i.e. 2 days after the start of confinement, the 5th edition of the Golf Trophies will finally take place on Wednesday March 31, 2021, at the Golf National.

After 4 editions in Paris, the evening is still evolving, becoming the opening ceremony of National Golf Week, a new large-scale event launched by the French Golf Federation on December 15th.

Faithful to their founding principle, the Golf Trophies will bring together 300 personalities from the world of the little white ball to celebrate the finest successes of this sport, in the SQY Lounge, a hospitality area reserved for the partners of the event, the media and to golfers engaged in the various official competitions.

Sponsored by the FFGolf and PGA France, the ceremony will reward sporting performances and the best initiatives, as well as personalities and entities who have distinguished themselves during the past year.

An exceptional President

Julien Benneteau

Julien Benneteau

After Jean Van de Velde in 2015, Thomas Levet in 2016, Armel Le Cléac'h in 2017 and GwladyNocera in 2018, it is once again an exceptional sponsor who has accepted to chair the jury composed of 19 members: Julien Benneteau, captain of the French Fed Cup team (victorious at the end of 2019). The French tennis player also won the Davis Cup in 2017 with the France team and is a bronze medalist at the London Olympics alongside Richard Gasquet.

"As a golf lover at the same time as a spectator, televiewer and modest player, it is an honor and a great pleasure to be president of the jury of the Golf Trophies and to exchange with important actors of this sport" explains the new President of the Golf Trophies Jury.

The jury, experts serving French golf

Since their creation, the Golf Trophies have awarded a total of fifty trophies rewarding sporting results, outstanding personalities, business successes, clubs, all those who promote French golf.

The new members who reinforce the jury of this 5th edition give it full legitimacy by offering a very complete panel of the different players in French golf:

- Laurent Boissonnas, as President of GEGF, union of owners and operators of commercial golf courses

- Sophie Giquel, ex-player LET and LPGA, professional coach in business (MyGolfCare)

- Kristel Mourgue d'Algue, former LET player, golf consultant and columnist

- Arnaud Sérié, influencer and creator of golf content

To make the best decisions, choose the most deserving nominees and winners, the event has assembled a committee of experts in all areas of trophy action. The 2021 vintage promises rich and lively debates!

Like every year, fans will be consulted to elect the Golfer of the Year as well as the Coup of the Year during the month of March.
