48 hours after the opening of the village in Les Sables d'Olonne, fanatic skippers of the little white ball will meet for an 18-hole game played in teams of 4, on Monday, October 17 at the magnificent golf course of Saint-Jean-de- Monts (Vendée), seaside links several times elected among the most beautiful golf courses in France.

Armel Le Cléac'h, Kojiro Shiraishi, contenders for the Vendée Globe 2016, have already noted it in their diaries. They will be joined by other sailors who are fans of golf such as Fabien Delahaye, Guillaume Le Brec, Jimmy Pahun and Hervé Gautier. Former athletes, representatives of the media and guests of the partners of the event also wished to participate in this great first.

The principle is simple: after a welcome breakfast, each team of 4 (including at least one skipper / sportsman or journalist) will play in a scramble while tasting gastronomic products throughout the course.

Some places are still available. Registration is possible by sending an email to Golf # together: arobin@c-together.com

Armel Le Cléac'h, Banque Populaire skipper:

“I am very happy to participate in the Vendée Golf Trophy because I like playing golf and I find it fascinating to be able to have a change of scenery a few days before the start of the Vendée Globe. We are often on the water so when we are on land it is good to be able to focus on something else. It is all the more pleasant that we will be doing this competition with other sailors and other golf enthusiasts. I don't know the Saint-Jean-de-Monts golf course so it will be an opportunity to discover this beautiful course and why not, return to play after the Vendée Globe when I have less pressure. "
