From April 26 to 28, 2018, the Simone Thion de la Chaume Trophy will celebrate its 20th anniversary which will be contested on the century-old Biarritz le Phare course and will be preceded from April 24 to 26 by the STC Cup, for players with an index greater than 6,4. This major event for women's golf, internationally renowned, rhymes with elegance, tradition, good humor and competitiveness.

Since its creation in 1999 by Catherine Lacoste in tribute to her mother Simone Thion de la Chaume, this Open International Seniors Ladies, unique in France, has continued to evolve with a number of participants multiplied by 4 and a level of play always higher, half of the Trophy fans with an index less than 4.

Nearly 150 competitors will find themselves on the prestigious Biarritz course, inaugurated in 1888 in the presence of Princess Frederika of Hanover, who attended the first competition played on the Biarritz links and which pitted the ladies against each other! A nice wink to celebrate these amateurs and professionals of more than 12 different nationalities who came to play this benchmark tournament, in honor of Simone Thion de la Chaume, pioneer of women's golf.

Always as many surprises and great moments of emotions will punctuate this 20th edition, thanks to the support of our partners and volunteers.

Firstrd edition of the Simone Thion de la Chaume Trophy will take place from Thursday April 26 to Saturday April 28, 2018, on the Biarritz le Phare golf course. Players must be born April 26, 1968 or earlier, and have an index less than or equal to 6,4.

  • STC TROPHY: 2rd round in stroke play. The 51 best players and tied from the first 2 rounds will qualify for the 3rd round

Saturday April 28, 2018

  • STC TROPHY: 3rd stroke play tour
  • Prize giving followed by a cocktail at the Golf de Biarritz le Phare
