It is on the magnificent Pont Royal golf course, designed by Severiano Ballesteros that the 16th stage of the 2017 edition of the En route pour 2018 trophy organized by Open Golf Club took place. And the 76 players were able to appreciate the quality of the ground and the very well prepared greens by the teams of Jerome Lauredi and Thibaut Sampoux. 4 precision competitions as well as a Ladies drive competition and a Gentlemen drive competition enhanced this competition, all under a beautiful sun and a strong wind, omnipresent throughout this superb day. Each stage of this tournament is also a qualifying event for a place in the final organized with Christian Cévaër on October 21 and 22 at the Golf National on the Albatros course, the course where the Ryder Cup will take place in 2018.

84 gross and net points

Congratulations to the winning teams and in particular to the team of Jerome Drillat and Jean Philippe Maulny who won the 1st gross price with 36 points and to the team of Steven Daret and Laurent Ponsaille who won the 1st Net prize with the very good score of 50 points! And the team qualified for the Final, namely the 1st team to accumulate the Gross and Net scores, with 84 points, 34 in Gross and 50 in Net, it is about the team which wins the Net, that is to say Steven Daret (index 4,5) and Laurent Ponsaille (index 29,0), well done to both! The awards ceremony took place inside the Club House, on the interior terrace of the restaurant of the friendly Thierry Candaele, hosted by Jerome Lauredi, the general manager of the resort, Thibaut Sampoux, the golf director and Hervé Decléty of Open Golf Club. And a large audience was present to know the results and hope to win the many prizes offered by Open Golf Club and its partners Novotel, Henriot, Decayeux Paris, Gras Savoye Berger Simon, Le Figaro Golf, Journal du Golf, Golf Magazine, GolfatHome, Glenfiddich and the Domaine des Remparts in Marrakech.
