It is on the magnificent golf course of La Grande Bastide that the 18th and last stage of the 2017 edition of the En route pour 2018 trophy organized by Open Golf Club took place. And the players were able to appreciate the quality of the ground and the very well prepared greens by Richard Meyrieux's teams. 4 precision competitions as well as a Ladies drive competition and a Gentlemen drive competition embellished this competition, all under a beautiful sun, omnipresent throughout the day. Each stage of this tournament is also a qualifying event for a place in the final organized with Christian Cévaër on October 21 and 22 at the Golf National on the Albatros course, the course where the Ryder Cup will be held in 2018.

78 gross and net points

Congratulations to the winning teams and in particular to the André PAUBEY and Pablo BOURBON team. who won the 1st gross price with 36 points and to the team of Olivier MAITI and René TALET who won the 1st net prize with the very good score of 45 points! And the team qualified for the Final, namely the 1st team in the aggregate of the Gross and Net scores, with 78 points i.e. 36 in Gross and 42 in net, separated from that of Olivier MAITI and René TALET, it is about André PAUBEY and Pablo BOURBON's team, well done to both of you! The awards ceremony took place on the terrace of the Club House, hosted by Guillaume Verney-Carron, the director of golf, Florent Honoré, the event manager and Christian Cévaër who came specially to offer a clinic on the game. A large audience was present to know the results and hope to win the many prizes offered by Open Golf Club and its partners Novotel, Henriot, Decayeux Paris, Gras Savoye Berger Simon, Le Figaro Golf, Journal du Golf, Golf Magazine, GolfatHome, Glenfiddich and the Domaine des Remparts in Marrakech.
