The 17th and penultimate stage of the 2017 edition of the En route pour 2018 trophy organized by Open Golf Club took place on the magnificent Brigode golf course. And the players were able to appreciate the quality of the ground and the greens very well prepared by the teams of Philippe Bazin, the golf director. 4 precision competitions as well as a Ladies drive competition and a Gentlemen drive competition adorned this competition, all under a very beautiful sun, omnipresent throughout the day. Each stage of this tournament is also a qualifying event for a place in the final organized with Christian Cévaër on October 21 and 22 at the Golf National on the Albatros course, the course where the Ryder Cup will take place in 2018.

89 points gross and net, the new record!

Congratulations to the winning teams, in particular to the Pierre and Dominique Vanhoorebeke team who won the 1st gross prize with 40 points, i.e. 4 under the Par and to the Olivier Conques and Sébastien Berghe team who won the 1st Net prize with the very good score of 46 points! And the team qualified for the Final, namely the 1st team to accumulate the Gross and Net scores, with 89 points or 40 in Gross and 49 in Net, it is the team of Pierre and Dominique Vanhoorebeke, bravo to both for this performance and this new record! The awards ceremony took place on the Club House terrace, hosted by Jean Claude Cornillot, Philippe Bazin, the director of golf, Joel Martinez, the director of the Lille Novotel and Hervé Decléty of Open Golf Club. And a large audience was present to know the results and hope to win the many prizes offered by Open Golf Club and its partners Novotel, Henriot, Seiko, Decayeux Paris, Gras Savoye Berger Simon, Le Figaro Golf, Journal du Golf, Golf Magazine, GolfatHome , Glenfiddich and the Domaine des Remparts in Marrakech.

As a reminder, all those who play one of the eighteen “On the Road to 2018” trophies will have the chance to participate in a general draw where 4 Ryder Cup 2018 invitations including one VIP invitation will be offered by Open Golf Club as well as 2 medium-haul Air France tickets.
