The Town Hall of the 8th arrondissement of Paris, in partnership with the Golf Association Paris 8, relaunches in 2015 its golf competition for the benefit of a charitable cause: the fight against cancer.

The event takes place on Friday April 10, on the Golf National, headquarters of the FFGolf, thirty minutes from Paris. Home of the Alstom Open de France and the 2018 Ryder Cup, the Golf National is the most prestigious course in France.

Golf Paris 8th Trophy on April 10, 2015 for the fight against cancerThis day is intended primarily for golfers in the 8th arrondissement of Paris and its companies, but also for all golfers and non-golfers who wish to participate in this friendly and charitable event.

The Competition takes place on the legendary Albatross Course, recognized as one of the best championship courses in Europe, exceptionally open without index limitation. Alongside the competition, skill competitions are organized for golfers and non-golfers: putting green, approach and drive.

For non-golfers, golf initiations / discovery of the game of golf supervised by PGA golf teachers, followed by an accompanied course on the Oiselet.

An exceptional participation of two Professional players participating in the European Tour of Long Drive, Philippe JOST and Stanislas HECK. The Competition will be followed by a demonstration of Long Drive on the grass practice in front of the entire audience.

The day will end with the presentation of prizes and endowments for each sporting activity, in the presence of Mrs. Jeanne d'Hauteserre, Mayor of the 8th arrondissement of Paris; Ms. Catherine Fabre, outgoing President and Martine Hervé, President of the association “Vivre comme avant”; Ms. Jacqueline Marquez, President of the “Golf Paris 8” association, partners, journalists, golfers and guests.

It will be followed by the presentation of the check of funds collected during the “Golf Paris 8e Trophy” day to the beneficiary association “Living as before”, for the care of people with breast cancer.

The day ends with a convivial cocktail in the VIP hall of the Golf National.
