Three French women will take part in the Cognizant Founders Cup in New Jersey: Céline Boutier, Pauline Roussin-Bouchard and Agathe Laisné. It is the world number 1 Jin Young Ko who will try to keep her trophy, she is currently double defending champion. She had won the 2019 and 2021 edition, the 2020 edition having been canceled due to the pandemic.

The LPGA Tour is stopping in New Jersey this week for the Cognizant Founders Cup. This event will celebrate its eleventh anniversary, on the par 71 of the Upper Montclair Country Club. This course of 6656 yards will offer 500 points for the Race to CME Globe as well as a total prize pool of 3 dollars. This tournament has been particularly successful for Korean players since in ten editions, they have won five times:

  • Hyo Joo Kim 2015
  • Sei Young Kim 2016
  • Inbee Park 2018
  • Jin Young Ko 2019 and 2021

Race to CME Globe leader Danielle Kang won't be in attendance, which puts Denmark's Nanna Koerstz Madsen as the No. 1 seed. Ko double title holder, Atthaya Thitikul currently fourth as well as the New Zealand former world number 5 Lydia Ko, currently fifth in the ranking.

Three tricolors present in New Jersey

Three French women will be at the start of the event: Céline Boutier, Pauline Roussin-Bouchard and Agathe Laisné.

Céline Boutier, currently 17th in the world and sixth in the Race to CME Globe, will start at 13:10 p.m. from tee 10.

Pauline Roussin-Bouchard 129th player in the world will start at 8:10 a.m., also from tee 10.

Agathe Laisné, after having passed her first Cut on the LPGA Tour, converted into an excellent 16th place, will start at 7:26 am from tee 10 in this Cognizant Founders Cup.
