After a crazy end to the tournament, it's finally the Danish former Ryder Cup player, Thorbjørn Olesen taking the win on this Betfred British Masters posted by Danny Willett. In the hard during almost all of the last lap, Olesen appears on the start of the 17th with a score of +4 for the day and two strokes behind the leader Sebastian Soderberg. The magic then operated from the green of 17, a par 5 or a long string allows him to sign an eagle. He arrives on tee 18, co-leader with Sebastian Soderberg already installed at the clubhouse. On the 18th green in two shots, the Dane dug in a 36 ft (12 meter) victory putt and beat the Swede to the post.

He adds a sixth victory on the DP World Tour to his list and gains 200 places in the world ranking, he is 173rd.

Two French people finished in the top 10 of this event. We find in 8th position Julien Brun and Romain Langasque with a total of -6. Romain Langasque is playing 76-67-68-71 over his week. This top 10 allows him to move up to 35th in the Race to Dubai. Julien Brun may be able to regret his end of the game despite this good result. After an eagle on hole 17, hole 18 unfortunately resisted him with a final double bogey. He still gained 10 places at the Race to Dubai, he is now 47th.

Danny Willett, host of the event, finished 16th at -5. He plays 73-65-74-71 during this test.

Joël Stalter ranks 51st at +2 total. Unfortunately, he returns a last card of 76 (+4) which makes him lose 21 places.

Raphaël Jacquelin finishes one shot behind Joël Stalter, with a total of +3, in 54th position.
