History

The Cornouaille and Quimper golf courses opened in 1959. Ideally located on the edge of La Forêt-Fouesnant bay, near Port-la-Forêt, the cradle of great Breton skippers, it offers splendid panoramas over the bay of Concarneau and the Glénan Archipelago. Designed by Fred Hawtree, enlarged by his son Martin, the golf course has an 18-hole course (5688 meters, par 71) combining architectural and technical qualities.

It is the oldest golf course on the south coast of Brittany.
