Thomas Levet, a young senior, takes his second victory in two weeks by winning in Scotland. Winner in France last week with three strokes ahead of the Saint Cloud course, he once again shone on the Aberdeen course in Scotland. With three cards of 70-69-65 (Par 71), he finished at -9 for the tournament along with Austrian Markus Brier, who also signed a 65 in the last round.

The two men therefore face each other in playoff on the par 4 of hole number 18. The French sign the Par while his opponent makes a bogey. He thus signs his third victory among seniors.

At 53, he once again entered the history of the European Tour as he became the first player to win the French Open and the Scottish Open on the European Tour, and the Senior Open of France and the Scottish Senior Open on the Legends Tour.

He is fourth in the Legends Tour Order of Merit behind Alex Cejka, Stephen Dodd and Miguel Ángel Jimenez.

Two other French people were involved in this event.

Marc Farry finished 31st at +3.

Christian Cévaër finished 36th at +5.
