The JP McManus Pro-Am was the first step in preparing the best players in the world for the British Open. Indeed, the 150th The Open will take place next week in Saint-Andrews, and the Genesis Scottish Open as well as the JP McManus Pro-Am are good preparation to adapt to the Links and to more or less windy conditions.

Having signed the course record during the first round with a card of 64 (-8), Xander Schauffele will have managed to keep his first place by signing a card of 70 (-2). He won one step ahead of American Sam Burns. Shane Lowry finished first in Ireland with a total score of -8.

Padraig Harrington, captain of the 2021 Ryder Cup, equaled Xander Schauffele's course record in this second round. He scores seven birdies and an eagle for a bogey and therefore a card of 64 (-8).

Rickie Fowler finally plays par on the second day. He finished sixth alongside Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas.

Tiger Woods ends his recovery tournament at +7 total. He plays 74 (+2) in the second round with four bogeys for two birdies. He ranks 39th.

Team G McManus won the team tournament with a total of -37. The team consisted of Mark O'Meara, Gerry McManus, Mark McManus and Cormac McManus.
