The SQY National Golf, an exceptional site

Created in 1990, the SQY 1 National Golf has three courses: the Albatross, on which the Ryder Cup will be played, the Eagle and the Oiselet. It is one of the European sports complexes which can accommodate more than 70 people.

Its spectacular 18-hole course, the Albatross, is loved by the greatest champions from five continents and makes it the leading golf stadium in Europe.

For 25 years, it has been the flagship of French golf and each year hosts the French Open 2, which joined the very closed circle of the Rolex Series last year. The National Golf has been distinguished by the Ministry of Youth, City and Sports for its environmental role.

Recently, the many actions of the Golf National in terms of biodiversity and eco-management allowed the GEO (Golf Environment Organization) labeling of the site. This European label engages the social responsibility of golf courses and advocates better management of water, energy and biodiversity.

The Golf National will be the scene of a legendary sporting event, just like in 2024, on the occasion of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

SQY makes every effort to host the Ryder Cup in the best conditions. It thus allows its inhabitants to gain places and enjoy a Fan Zone installed at the same time as the competition.
