As the Ryder Cup prepares to take up residence at the Golf National de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, the UVSQ (University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines) is mobilizing around this global event and organizing a competition international student golf club, the Younger's Cup.

The Younger's Cup, an international event reserved for students

On September 19 and 20, 2018, this Younger's Cup will see French students compete against each other from foreign students selected from universities and grandes écoles in the Ile-de-France region.

Combining sport and golf culture (at the end of each hole, players will be able to improve their score by answering questions about the history of the Ryder Cup in particular), in a pure spirit of student friendliness, this competition will be open at 2 levels of practitioners: players with indexes up to 14 will compete on the course of Golf Isabella (Plaisir 78) while competitors with indexes ranging from 15 to 24 will meet at the golf de Jardy
(Vaucresson 92).

UVSQ and its many partners hope to perpetuate this festive and convivial event, creating a link between all French and foreign student golfers in the Paris region and perhaps at the same time ... discovering great talents among the students.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: there are still places for the Younger's Cup, especially to join the team of foreign students. The teams are mixed. Registration is free and possible until September.
