This fine sum, achieved thanks to the generosity of 172 players and all the partners and patrons of this charitable competition for which sportspeople and researchers join forces in the service of the same cause, will participate in the construction of a Wellness Center.

Dr Sarah Dauchy, Head of the Interdisciplinary Department of Supportive Care at Gustave Roussy presented to the participants, before the start of the competition, "this unique and innovative place to develop complementary approaches to care, to help patients and loved ones better live during their illness ”.

In 6 years, more than 260 € have been collected thanks to the Open Gustave Roussy and the loyal support of the Golf de Saint-Cloud which graciously provides its golf courses, its infrastructure and its skills to organize the competition .

“The Golf de Saint Cloud is proud to be committed over the long term alongside the Gustave Roussy Foundation. It seemed important to us to target the amount collected this year towards a project as ambitious as the Wellness Center. We are indeed convinced of the benefits of practicing sport and physical activity to regain self-confidence and optimize care. Our common values ​​push us to mobilize each year more to offer the many participants of this support day a great moment of sport and conviviality in an exceptional setting ” explains Caroline Breynaert, President of the Golf de Saint-Cloud and very involved in the organization of the event.

The prize-giving ceremony and the exceptional raffle presented by Mr. Nelson Monfort, loyal to the event, took place in the presence of Mrs. Virginie Michel-Paulsen, mayor of Vaucresson and Mr. Frédéric Varnier, Deputy Managing Director of Gustave Roussy who reminded the players "how important and precious their mobilization is for the patients who are at the heart of the concerns of all Gustave Roussy's teams".
