On November 1, 2015, Le Normandy, a pioneer hotel in the Barrière group, closed its doors for the first time since its construction in 1912, for 6 months of renovation work. On the walls, the Toile de Jouy, inseparable from the history and universe of Normandy, has been rejuvenated and available in harmonious colors (Sepia, powder blue, dark indigo blue, orange, green and carmine red). True soul of the place, witness to the grandeur, glamor and delicacy of the hotel, it is now regaining its radiance. At work on this site, decorator Nathalie Ryan. Interior designer and decorator, she began her collaboration with Barrière in 2010, when she created the Dior Suite at the Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic. For Le Normandy, it is the same finesse that motivates it: respecting and preserving the historic soul of buildings, with their codes, their characters, by infusing a contemporary decor.

The Belle Époque regains its original splendor

At the heart of the hotel, the La Belle Époque restaurant was also part of the major renovation projects. To reinvent this place, to rediscover the splendor of the past by adding resolutely contemporary touches, the decorator Alexandre Danan has bet on subtlety and simplicity. A sleek design, more discreet luxury, magnified architecture, simplified movements and more intimate spaces. On the floor, a large custom-created mosaic uses the codes and colors of the new Barrière against a backdrop of Naïade Belle Époque.
