The Lacoste Ladies Open de France starts tomorrow. How do you feel after the recognition part?

I feel good, the training days are busy but I can't wait to start tomorrow

I did a good job and a good practice session, so ready to enjoy the next few days.

You already won the tournament in 2015, did you finish runner-up last year? Can we say that you feel good at the French Open?

Yes it's a tournament that I like. I feel comfortable playing in France. As a Frenchwoman, it gives me good vibes, for other players to play at home adds pressure, but for me, on the contrary, it is a plus to play in France so I will make the most of it.

I play a lot in the United States and it's important for me to be able to play these two tournaments in France: the French Open and the Evian Championship.

How do you feel on the Médoc golf course, which has hosted the French Ladies' Open since 2018?

The course is really sublime, I love it. The greens are fabulous, very fast, so it's going to be interesting to see how we're going to handle the greens during the tournament, what flag positions we're going to have.

I feel comfortable on the course, I like the design, it suits me well.

What are your goals for the end of the season? And those for next season.

Three tournaments are coming to the LPGA. This year I am having my best season on the circuit, so why not add the icing on the cake with an additional top 10 or better!

Give my best and maybe play two more tournaments in November.

Playing well in these tournaments will perhaps give me the opportunity to be in the fields of players of the first majors next season.

I will then rest well and recharge my batteries well for next year which will be a full season on the LPGA.

In addition to having your best season, you obtained your best result in major.

How did you experience this US Women's Open?

It was the best week of the season, the week my game was the best and it's satisfying to see that my form during the week was rewarded.

Indeed, Céline Herbin finished 14th in the US Women's Open 2021, her best performance in major.

On the LPGA Tour, during this season she made seven cuts out of eleven and signed a top 10 and a top 25.

Out of five tournaments played on the LET, the Norman made four cuts, including a top 15 in South Africa.

Arriving with good feelings before the start of the Lacoste Ladies Open de France, Céline Herbin signed a top 20. She gave the Médoc golf course 72-71-69 cards and finished in 20th place at -1.
